Trainee Sales Production Assistant
The team at Stormpress are looking to welcome a Trainee Sales Production Assistant. For over 40 years Stormpress has been proud to offer many processes all under one roof with a team of experienced staff with decades of knowledge to share. The ideal candidate will be keen to learn all aspects of print production, including pre-production preparation, fine finishes, and print finishing (both machine based and hand finishing).
Responsibilities
- - Working with team members to contribute to the daily production requirements of the business.

- Learning the ropes with digital print and large format processes to develop an understanding and work toward an independent workload.

- Develop skills in checking artwork and preparing for print including pre-flight, fix-ups and imposition work.

- Provide support in finishing work, machine operation and hand finishing.

- Produce estimates and process orders in a concise manner to ensure good customer experience and efficient communication of orders to production team/s.

- Communicate with customers and suppliers professionally.

- Office/computer based work to include answering telephones, greeting drop in customers, responding to customer enquiries and ensuring a high standard of customer care.
